We are looking for a senior, hands-on growth lead who does the work directly—not a manager who delegates or briefs agencies. At the start, you are the growth team. There is no playbook to inherit, and no ready-made strategy to execute.
 
What will you do:
  • Find Where Growth Comes From: Test across every available leverage point—product virality/sharing loops, creator networks, content/social, community engines, partnerships, App Store Optimization (ASO), PR, or unconventional routes we haven't considered.
  • Build Systems, Not Stunts: One-off viral spikes don't equal sustainable growth. You will design, run, and evaluate fast experiments. When a test works, you will turn it into a repeatable, daily system that doesn't rely on ad spend.
  • Hands-on Execution: For the first several months, you will run every test yourself: write the briefs, build the funnels alongside engineers, and analyze the data.
  • Build the Strategy & Team: The strategy is what remains after aggressive As growth systems prove out, you will recruit and manage the specialists needed to scale them.
 
Key Requirements
  • Proven Growth Ownership: You have owned the user growth number of a consumer company or whole product for 12+ months, reporting directly against agreed targets with the CEO.
  • Systematic Tester: You can walk through a sequence of 10+ growth experiments you personally ran before finding the winning loop, demonstrating range across product, community, content, and
  • Consumer App Scale: Experience driving growth at a consumer product (ideally a mass-market or social mobile app) while its user base multiplied organically.
  • Hands-On & Tactical: Deep technical capability to analyze attribution, build flows alongside product engineers, and run paid channels as testing tools (Meta, TikTok, Google).
  • In-House Pedigree: Ex-founder or first growth hire at a consumer app. (Agency/consultancy-only or sales/BD backgrounds will not be considered).
