A top-tier, globally recognized mobile games studio is seeking a visionary QA Director to define and execute the quality assurance strategy for its entire product portfolio. This is a critical leadership role in the studio's hybrid Seville location, responsible for establishing the quality bar and driving a culture of excellence across all development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define and champion the studio-wide QA vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with product and engineering goals.
- Lead, mentor, and scale the QA department, fostering a high-performance culture among QA Managers and Leads.
- Own the quality bar and release process for multiple live mobile titles, managing risk and setting best practices.
- Drive the adoption of advanced QA methodologies, including automation, continuous integration (CI), and 'Shift-Left' testing.
- Manage operational aspects, including departmental budgeting, resourcing allocation, and strategic vendor/outsourcing relationships.
- Act as the primary QA stakeholder, collaborating closely with C-level executives and cross-functional leadership.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in a Director or Head of QA role within the mobile games industry.
- Proven track record of building and managing large, multi-site, and hybrid QA teams.
- Deep expertise in implementing and scaling test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional strategic, organizational, and budget management skills.
- Must have the legal right to work in Spain (visa sponsorship is not a primary focus).
- Fluent in professional English communication.
