Job Title: Associate Technical Director – Build & Automation
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid / Remote within Spain)
We are looking for an Associate Technical Director to lead the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of build systems, automation pipelines, and CI/CD infrastructure for a top-tier mobile title. You’ll define standards, optimize workflows, and mentor a team dedicated to improving engineering speed, reliability, and scalability.

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid / Remote within Spain)
We are looking for an Associate Technical Director to lead the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of build systems, automation pipelines, and CI/CD infrastructure for a top-tier mobile title. You’ll define standards, optimize workflows, and mentor a team dedicated to improving engineering speed, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical strategy for build systems, release automation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Act as technical owner for automation and release platforms, aligning engineering initiatives with business priorities
- Lead and mentor a global team of build and release engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, production, and operations to ensure efficient, secure, and stable releases
- Drive continuous improvement in build performance, cost, and reliability
- Oversee and evolve tooling for Unity-based development, enabling rapid iteration and cross-platform deployment
- Champion automation best practices, observability, and long-term infrastructure health
- Proven experience leading build engineering, infrastructure, or developer tooling teams in large-scale production environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins)
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or equivalent)
- Proficient in C# with solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and performance optimization
- Experience with Unity build systems and live service release processes
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Kibana, or New Relic
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passion for games and delivering world-class player experiences
- Experience automating large-scale mobile builds and deployments
- Knowledge of branching strategies and version control best practices
- Background in optimizing infrastructure cost and stability for live service titles
