Senior Backend Developer
Location: Noida, India - onsite 5 day week

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services. This role involves working with Node.js, Apache Kafka, and third-party API integrations to build robust, efficient, and high-performance solutions. You’ll play a key part in architecture, development, and mentoring while ensuring the reliability and scalability of our products.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services. This role involves working with Node.js, Apache Kafka, and third-party API integrations to build robust, efficient, and high-performance solutions. You’ll play a key part in architecture, development, and mentoring while ensuring the reliability and scalability of our products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend architectures and microservices.
- Write clean, maintainable Node.js code and manage backend components.
- Build real-time data pipelines and streaming applications with Apache Kafka.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs; design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure robust testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and support production systems.
- Minimum 6 years of backend development experience with complex systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks.
- Deep experience with Apache Kafka (message brokers, streams, producers/consumers).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and third-party integrations.
- Experience designing scalable, high-availability architectures.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with Git and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
