Salary: US$24,000–45,000/year (based on experience)

About the Role We’re seeking a Lead QA Analyst to join the team creating a  a fast-paced, PvP-focused online card battler. As Lead QA, you’ll be the cornerstone of our quality efforts, owning test strategy, coordinating test cycles, and ensuring a high-quality player experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve QA strategy across development and live service.
• Coordinate testing across internal teams, external QA partners, and freelancers.
• Develop and maintain test plans for gameplay, UI/UX, progression, monetisation, and platform compliance.
• Identify, reproduce, and prioritise bugs in collaboration with Producers and Developers.
• Champion bug triage processes and mentor junior testers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA tools and workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience in game development, including 1+ year in a lead or senior role.
• Experience shipping games or managing QA for live titles (preferably multiplayer or PvP).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and bug lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with QA tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Confluence, Unity Profiler).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Bonus Skills

• Experience with card battlers or turn-based games.
• Familiarity with blockchain/Web3 integrations in games.
• Knowledge of automated testing, performance profiling, or Unity-based testing frameworks.
