Job Title: UI/UX Artist (Unity, Mobile Games)
Location: Remote from Europe
We are looking for a skilled and versatile UI & UX Artist to join our game development team. You will take ownership of the game's user interface from concept to in Unity implementation ensuring the experience is both visually compelling and functionally intuitive for mobile players.
It is a hands-on role for someone who understands the technical limitations of mobile platforms and knows how to work within them creatively.

We are looking for a skilled and versatile UI & UX Artist to join our game development team. You will take ownership of the game's user interface from concept to in Unity implementation ensuring the experience is both visually compelling and functionally intuitive for mobile players.
It is a hands-on role for someone who understands the technical limitations of mobile platforms and knows how to work within them creatively.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement responsive, polished UI assets directly in Unity.
- Create visually appealing icons, menus, HUD elements, and pop-ups, maintaining a consistent and coherent style.
- Animate UI elements (buttons, transitions, feedback) to enhance the user experience and support player interaction.
- Design and implement simple, performance-friendly shaders for UI effects and feedback.
- Collaborate with UI engineer and AD to create intuitive and accessible user ìows and layouts.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interaction prototypes to validate concepts and iterate quickly.
- Optimise UI assets and animations for performance and memory use on mobile devices.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX artist in the game industry, with at least one released mobile game. Strong Unity skills, with hands-on experience building UI directly in-engine.
- Proëciency in 2D asset creation, including iconography, layout design. Ability to animate UI elements using Unity’s animation tools or timeline.
- Familiarity with mobile UI constraints: screen resolution, memory budgets, input responsiveness. Understanding of UX design principles, player psychology, and intuitive interaction patterns.
- Solid grasp of UI performance optimisation and the ability to create efficient shaders and materials when needed.
- Experience with Unity’s UI Toolkit and addressable asset system.
- Basic shader development experience (Shader Graph or hand-written). Familiarity with game UX testing, A/B testing, and iteration pipelines.
- Experience with F2P or live mobile game UI systems (e.g., shops, events, popups).
