Technical Director - Unity

Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director (Unity) to join our mobile games studio.

As the Technical Director, you will play a crucial role in developing our upcoming mobile game targeted at low-end devices. With your deep technical expertise and leadership abilities, you will oversee the development team and implementation of the game, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance.


Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the development process, ensuring the successful execution of the game project.

• Manage and mentor the development team.

• Drive the technical vision and strategy, making informed decisions regarding technology, tools, and frameworks to maximize performance on low-end devices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Design, Art, and QA to seamlessly integrate gameplay mechanics, features, and graphical elements.

• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the technical team.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to game development.

Requirements:

• Extensive professional experience as a Technical Director or a similar technical leadership role within the gaming industry.

• Strong proficiency in the Unity game engine and a deep understanding of its features, capabilities, and limitations.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality mobile games.

• Expertise in optimizing games for low-end devices, maximizing performance while maintaining visual quality.

• Solid knowledge of combat and shooting mechanics, implementation of game features, UI integration, graphics optimization, visual effects, and technical art.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team toward achieving common goals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focusing on delivering results within deadlines.

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the mobile gaming market.
