Our client is seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to join a dynamic team shaping player experiences for a new free-to-play game. As the “voice of the community,” you’ll lead community strategies, manage social channels, and provide actionable feedback to build player relationships and collaborate with Production, Design, and Marketing to deliver engaging and informative communication.
Location: Dundee – hybrid (2 days onsite)
Salary: Up to £45,000
Relocation support within the UK available
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing the community strategy for the game
- Managing day-to-day activities across social media and community channels
- Planning and delivering a rolling monthly content calendar to grow engagement
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver aligned social content
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the community, acting as the trusted voice
- Driving continuous improvements to community channels
- Producing monthly reports highlighting community feedback and social performance
- Developing a deep expertise in the game to provide informed player insights
We’re looking for someone with experience managing video game communities, knowledge of community management processes and best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with design, art, marketing, and senior teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential, as is experience representing a brand or game and engaging directly with a community. A passion for video games and the industry is a must.
