A leading mobile games studio is looking for a Technical Artist to join the team behind one of the world’s most successful mobile titles. This is a hybrid role based in Southern Spain (3 days per week onsite).
As Technical Artist, you’ll act as the bridge between art and engineering, ensuring assets are both visually impressive and technically sound. You’ll optimize content pipelines, improve workflows, and support the art team in achieving high-quality visuals that run smoothly on mobile platforms.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to develop efficient workflows and pipelines.
- Optimize assets for performance without compromising visual quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art and asset implementation.
- Provide tools, scripts, and technical support to improve the team’s productivity.
- Explore new techniques and technologies (including AI-driven tools) to enhance processes.
- Proven experience as a Technical Artist in games.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing tools (Maya, Blender, Substance, Photoshop).
- Experience with Unity and mobile optimization workflows.
- Understanding of shaders, scripting, and asset pipelines.
- Ability to balance technical efficiency with artistic quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
- Experience with automation tools or custom tool development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted art workflows.
- Passion for mobile gaming and interactive media.
